This is an in person session for unpaid carers - not professionals - at Harborne Baptist church, Harborne Park, Harborne, B17 0DH.

In this session we will explore what we mean by "sundowning" and how it presents. We will also explore issues with sleep, and how sleep might be improved for you and the person you care for.

If you are concerned that the person you care for isn’t getting enough rest, come along to our session on RESTLESS NIGHTS and learn how making a few small changes to the way you support them, can make all the difference.

This session is for you if:

  • you want to spend time with experienced healthcare professionals who will answer your questions in a safe, supportive environment
  • you would like to meet other people who are taking care of a friend or family member with dementia in a similar situation
