The word 'dementia' describes a set of symptoms that over time can affect memory, problem-solving, language and behaviour.

Alzheimer's disease is the most common type of dementia. It is not a specific disease but is rather a general term for the impaired ability to remember, think, or make decisions that interferes with doing everyday activities. Dementia is caused by damage to brain cells. This damage interferes with the ability of brain cells to communicate with each other. When brain cells cannot communicate normally, thinking, behaviour and feelings can be affected.<ul><li>Please register to attend the event and find out how you can get support</li><li> We will have clinical experts to share information</li><li>There will be a training delivery session for carers</li><li>Q &amp; A session where you will have the opportunity to ask questions</li><li>This event is free and open to everyone, please register to attend</li></ul>We look forward to seeing you at the event on the 16th May.Mohammed Yasin
