The EEB is the largest network of environmental citizens’ organisations in Europe. It currently consists of 180 member organisations in 38 countries, including a growing number of networks, and representing some 30 million individual members and supporters.

The transition to a fairer and greener world is in motion, and so is the fight to ensure that the public and civil society organisations have their say in how we get there. Environmental protection and climate action cannot be achieved without strengthened democratic processes that are inclusive and institutionalised. The Democracy for Transition (D4T) Coalition aims bring together those who are working on civic space and democracy and those who are active in the environmental movement.The Keynote speech will be given by MEP Daniel Freund (Group of the Greens/European Free Alliance)The EEB and Demsoc invite you to join us for the launch of this Coalition to see whether you would like to get involved.
