DemoWind is the Offshore Wind European Research Area Network (ERA-NET) Cofund, funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 programme. DemoWind 2 brings together European R&D funding organisations from 6 countries: Belgium, Denmark, Netherlands, Norway, Spain and the UK.
DemoWind aims to support the development and demonstration of innovative technologies which can reduce the cost of offshore wind energy. DemoWind 2 – the 2016 Joint Call - will target capital intensive demonstration projects that would be difficult or impossible for a single country to support. It will help to align national research between the six partner countries and promote knowledge-sharing between national innovation programmes.
In February 2016, DemoWind will offer the opportunity for project consortia to participate in its second Joint Call 2016 for collaborative offshore wind demonstration projects.
DECC and KTN are hosting this webinar to give participants the background to the second Joint Call 2016, explain the application process and encourage interested partners to start preparing projects and building their consortia
The webinar will cover:
Overview of DemoWind Offshore Wind ERANET Cofund
Summary of DemoWind Joint Call 2016 including the call budget and funding arrangements, scope, and eligibility requirements
