Join us at Northumberlandia for fun family, building shelters using natural materials and tarpaulin.

Please ensure that you wear clothing and footwear suitable for an outdoor setting and changeable weather. We encourage children (and grown-ups) to get stuck in and get their hands dirty in this physical fun activity, although gloves will be provided.

Suitable for ages 4+. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please book a ticket for each child attending. NWT staff cannot be left responsible for children at any time.

This activity involves a short walk on level (but sometimes uneven) gravel/chipping paths and building shelters off the main path. We want everyone to feel welcome to take part, so if you have any specific requirements or questions, just let us know and we'll do our best.
