Course Outline;

Attendees have a choice of attending individual sessions or all sessions. If you book on to and attend part 1 and part 2 Dermatology you will be eligble for a lunch voucher on the day, please email us with dietary requirements if you are attending both parts. Lunch will be at 12:15 if you are attending both days and have a lunch voucher.

Session One

The following area will be covered during the session:

  • Rashes in adults and children
  • Skin lesions
  • Common dermatology problems
  • Treatment options

Session Two

T he following area will be covered during the session:

  • 2ww criteria and when to refer
  • Steroid injection/ treatment of keloid scars in primary care
  • Skin tags and removal
  • Red flags such as keratosis

THIS TRAINING IS FOR THOSE WHO QUALIFY FOR CPD WHITHIN CHESHIRE & MERSEYSIDE PRIMARY CARE TEAMS ONLY.

You will be required to give details of your NMC number and Practice/PCN name.


The following Primary Care staff are eligible for CPD funding: All registered Nurses , Midwives , Art Therapists , Drama therapists , Music therapists , Chiropodists/podiatrists , Dietitians, Occupational therapists , Operating Department Practitioners , Orthoptists , Osteopaths , Paramedics , Physiotherapists , Prosthetists and Orthotists, Radiographers , Speech and language therapists.

Will be free to book and attend but the cost of £102.85 will be taken out of your £333 CPD Allowance for this year.
