A number of neurodivergent young people experience mental health difficulties. Despite numerous interventions available, a key barrier is that it can be difficult for neurodivergent people to find the words to describe their feelings and what is going on in their internal worlds. We are developing an app that will allow neurodivergent young people to share their emotions using images, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence.
We want this app to be as useful and impactful as possible. To do this, we want to design the app with the help of young people themselves.
In this 45 minute online information session, we will share further information about this project, and how you can get involved. You or your child/young person will have the opportunity to ask questions.
For your child/young person to take part, they need to meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Be aged between 10 and 18
- Neurodivergent (diagnosed or undiagnosed)
- Have experience of mental health difficulties (diagnosed or undiagnosed)
No technology or design experience is needed.
Those who are selected to take part in further focus groups will receive a £50 voucher.
