We are running a 3 day internal design event with our Design colleagues from Booking.com. As part of this, Phil Hammel, Principal Designer at Booking.com will be presenting at the BookingGo Head office on the evening Tuesday the 12th of June. Phil will be presenting on 'Design at Booking.com'.
Phil Hammel - Principal Designer, Booking.com Phil is a designer who worked for a number of agencies in Manchester before moving to Amsterdam. He draws on his experience of graphic, editorial, brand and product design to help one of the world's top travel companies create meaningful interactions and desirable experiences for millions of users all over the world.

Design can be hard, and can be even harder at scale. When you have a large, diverse design team working on different features, things like quality standards and product fragmentation can be a challenge. When you're running 100s of a/b tests simultaneously, creating a cohesive cross product experience can be difficult.
Phil takes us through some things that Booking.com does as a large design team to help mitigate some of these problems and shares some of the lessons he's learned over the years about designing at scale.
