Do I need to bring my ticket?

Yes, please show your ticket to our Events Team who will then confirm your time booking and direct you to the relevant expert/s.

Question 2

Is parking available?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there is ample paid parking directly at the event site, either in the main Mill Meadows car park or the River and Rowing Museums private car park.  Please note the River and Rowing Museum car park is locked at 5pm.

Question 3

Is the event accessible by rail?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Henley-on-Thames Railway Station is a 5 minute walk from the event.

Question 4

Is the event site accessible?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the event is accessible with a ramp up to the venue front doors and the Thames Room is located on the ground floor.

Question 5

Who is available at the event to speak with?

Accepted Answer

You can select from a range of experts, including Architects, Interior Designers, Builders, and Bespoke Kitchens and Furniture Designers.

Am I limited as to who I can speak to?

Accepted Answer

We highly recommend pre-booking a slot with your preferred expert, if you wish to speak to more than one expert please make a separate booking with each. Feel free to drop in on the day we may be able to accommodate you or organise a follow up call.

Question 7

Are children welcome?

Accepted Answer

Yes.  However they may benefit from some entertainment within the Design & Build event during your consultation.  The River and Rowing Museum has a host of child friendly exhibits and play areas, Mill Meadows also has a wide range of family entertainment.

Question 8

Do I need to obtain tickets for children?

Accepted Answer

No.  Each ticket admits up to 2 Adults to the event.  Accompanied children may attend the event without needing to obtain a ticket.

Are dogs welcome?

Assistance dogs are welcome, and water bowls are available on request from the Reception Desk.

Are there refreshments available?

Accepted Answer

Yes, free tea, coffee, biscuits and iced water will be available throughout the day in the event room.  For something more substantial there is a café located within the River and Rowing Museum.  Alternatively Henley-on-Thames has many restaurants and cafes a short walk away.

How are the experts selected?

Each expert is validated as being part of professionally accredited body, backed with many years of experience, and a professional qualification.  Each are sourced through a trusted network of personal recommendations.

How will my data be used?

Accepted Answer

Your data will be used to manage and facilitate the booking of tickets for this event. Your data will be shared across the experts attending the event for follow up purposes only.

Question 13

Do my Design & Build Live Tickets give me access to the River & Rowing Museums Exhibitions?

Accepted Answer

No.  Your Design & Build Live Tickets give you access to the  Event located in the Thames Room within the River & Rowing Museum.  If you wish to enjoy the Museums Exhibitions you may purchase tickets from the Welcome Desk.
