This is an interactive in person event for newly appointed Designated Safeguarding Leads giving the opportunity for individual reflection, small group exercises and discussions. To gain the most from these sessions, delegates are asked to be prepared to engage and share examples of good practice and challenging aspects of safeguarding to assist with the learning outcomes. We aim to cover national and contextual safeguarding content, and therefore the experiences of everyone in the room are useful to ensure learning is relevant. We hope our events will also provide a good opportunity for networking and updates.
