DETech | Mobile App Design & Development: A step by step guide for beginners

ABOUT THIS SESSION
Do you have a passion for technology and want to build your own mobile application?
In this session, the presenter will explain the main steps for designing and developing an application on an Android platform. The session will explain software lifecycle from user requirements to application testing and the importance of co-design. The presenter will also provide the tools needed for basic app development and will show live demo of a creation of an app.
 
ABOUT THE DETECH RESEARCH GROUP
DETech is a multidisciplinary research group at Solent University, that explores the emergent fields in design, engineering and technology to enable a healthier, more socially connected, creative living. DETech brings together researchers from different backgrounds across Solent to discuss and address fundamental problems and issues around the use and application of technologies.
