How many participants can the workshop accommodate?

The workshop can accommodate a total of 12 participants.

Do I need experience with Lightroom?

Accepted Answer

Yes, ideally you should have some familiarity with Lightroom Classic (or CC) or Capture One, as the principles and tools are similar. If you're completely new to Lightroom, especially in terms of basic layout, tools, or understanding exposure, this course might be a bit advanced.

Which version of Lightroom will you be using?

Accepted Answer

The latest version of Adobe Lightroom Classic (desktop-based, not cloud-based cc). Make sure your software is up to date. If it is not, some features covered in the workshop may not be available to you.

Question 4

What is the difference between Adobe Lightroom Classic and Lightroom (Formerly Lightroom CC).

Accepted Answer

Can I use a tablet for this workshop?

Accepted Answer

No. Lightroom Classic isn't compatible with tablets. You must use a laptop or, ideally, a desktop computer.

How many RAW files should I bring?

Accepted Answer

Up to but not more than 10 to start. We work efficiently and a lot can be learned with just a few images.

Question 7

How many reference images should I bring?

Accepted Answer

Please bring just as many reference images as you like in JPEG format. Make sure they are already imported into your Lightroom Classic Catalogue.

Question 8

What is the difference between primary and secondary colour correction?

Accepted Answer

Primary applies to the entire image while secondary focuses on a part of the image.

Question 9

What should I do if the workshop doesn't meet all my learning needs?

Accepted Answer

Covering every tool and technique in colour grading is impractical due to the vastness of the field. Focus on learning and practising something new before exploring additional tools. For more in-depth instruction, consider booking a 1-1 session for more tailored, in-depth learning and guidance.

Yes. Workshop participants are eligible for a discount on one-on-one tutoring booked up until one week after the workshop's end. You have the option to purchase this as an add-on when booking the course.

What do you mean by "session is left open"

Accepted Answer

Each Zoom session includes one to three hours of instruction (as specified), but the session will remain open for participants who wish to continue working together afterwards.
