At the start of the workshop, everyone has the chance to give a short, improvised speech. This will give you a baseline to compare your progress to at the end of the workshop.Part II: Your Public Speaking Mindset• Understand how the audience perceives confidence• Identify and reflect on the cause(s) of your nervousness• Learn how to develop your personal public speaking mindsetPart III: Utilising Emotional Anchors• Explore the power of emotional anchors for combatting nervousness• Learn how to boost your confidence before getting on stage• Use physical exercises to calm and relax your body &amp; mindPart IV: Display Confidence Through Your Body• Learn the important elements of a confident body language• Explore the Do’s and Don’ts of displaying confidence• Discover how to project confidence through your voicePart V: Let Your Confidence Shine!Challenge yourself with another improvised speech, this time applying your newly acquired knowledge in a safe and supportive environment.• Receive professional feedback on your progressATTENTION: This is a highly INTERACTIVE online workshop!It is NOT an online lecture, passive webinar or monotonous slide presentation.In order to give each participant the required attention, the group size for this workshop is limited to a MAXIMUM of 8 participants.<h3>What you will need</h3>• A laptop or computer• A webcam• Built-in or external microphone• Stable internet connection• A smartphone or tablet (in addition to the laptop or computer)• 4 hours of your time<h3>Is this workshop for you?</h3>If you regularly suffer from nervousness during public speaking situations, then this is for you. It doesn’t matter whether you present weekly in front of clients, have to pitch your company to investors or simply want to give a great speech at your best friend’s wedding. If you feel that your nervousness and fear is holding you back when speaking, then this workshop is exactly for you.<h3>Who this workshop is NOT for</h3>If your public speaking nervousness is severe enough to be constitute an anxiety, this workshop is probably not for you. While the workshop can provide you with coping mechanisms, I am not a trained therapeutic professional and I recommend seeking professional help better equipped to help you overcome your anxiety. If you are unsure whether this applies to you, please feel free to reach out to me.
