Join us for the second event in this series as we explore good practices in sustainability.

This is the second of a series of events themed “Developing a sustainability conscience” where companies will present how they approached various elements of sustainability, and will discuss issues such as sustainable products and product stewardship, managing sustainability, diversity and inclusion etc... <h3>A﻿bout the Speakers</h3>F﻿amilia Torres- Familia Torres (Spain) cofounded International Wineries for Climate Action (IWCA) in February 2019, together with Jackson Family Wines (USA); two leading wine families deeply rooted in environmental stewardship with a passion to preserve the world’s great wine heritage in the face of climate change. IWCA is a membership-based organization driven by dozens of wineries across the globe taking a science-based approach to reducing carbon emissions crosswise the wine industry. Climate change poses an urgent and existential threat to the wine sector, that’s why we’re developing rigorous methodologies to measure GHG emissions footprints, doing our part to build the resilience of our businesses and safeguard the future of our industry.P﻿ortsmouth Port- Portsmouth International Port is the best connected major port in the UK with passenger and freight services to France and Spain, alongside lifeline services to the Channel Island and an ever-growing number of cruise lines calling. Owned by the people of Portsmouth, we are proud to represent them but understand that this means we have a leading role to play around sustainability. 

Part of our sustainability drive includes wide engagement and collaboration with our interested parties where we share a desire to increase jobs, increase trade and also improve our wider environment through our targets of carbon net-zero by 2030 and emissions free by 2050.
