Developing a VCSE sector Strategy for Cardiff

Cardiff Third Sector Council (C3SC)is the County Voluntary Council (CVC) for Cardiff – the umbrella infrastructure organisation for the third sector in the City.C3SC’s key role is to provide specialist advice, support, and information to local third sector organisations on issues that affect them, including funding and governance.C3SC is the voice of the third sector in Cardiff. It facilitates third sector representation on strategic partnerships, including the Cardiff Partnership Board and its Programme Boards and Workstreams. Have your say at developing a Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Strategy for Cardiff

C3SC has been working with its members to develop a strategy that can strengthen the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector and help the sector to develop sustainably. The Strategy aims to help shape approaches and how this could work in practice. From these discussions we have put together an initial document to build on, and to develop the Strategy through consultation and further engagement with local community groups, voluntary organisations, social enterprises, the people who benefit from the services you provide, and with other relevant stakeholders. This VCSE Strategy framework includes our initial ideas based on people’s views and feedback from groups in response to external consultations and at many engagement events over the years.In this workshop we are inviting voluntary organisations, local community groups, social enterprises and individuals to have their say and help to co-produce and develop this Strategy.
