A Cranfield Leaders in Learning Event.

An invite to our General Management portfolio launch!

The field of management development is changing. Technology enabled approaches to development have reduced the need for extended periods of offsite development. An ever-increasing pace of change in the world of work means that leaders need to be equipped to learn and adapt to uncertain and often ambiguous challenges.

2019 sees a refresh of Cranfield's General Management programmes as we continually strive to provide courses that suit our clients' requirements in terms of course content and the latest learning methodology.

The new portfolio includes four immersive programmes to assist high potential employees at key transition points within their leadership careers:

  • The Talent Development Programme focuses on early career high-potentials that need to develop their managerial perspective and leadership capabilities.

  • The General Management Programme prepares functional heads for general management roles, acquiring a broader business perspective to deliver greater value.

  • The Into Director Programme prepares senior managers to become directors and part of the organisation's senior management team.

  • The Purpose experience is designed for those that have reached the pinnacle of their careers and want to live with meaning to make a positive impact on self, society and industry.

On 26th February 2019 we are offering those responsible for investing in the development of high potential employees an opportunity to join us at Chelsea Football Club to explore the new portfolio, meet our tutors, and learn how to align the different development pathways with the specific needs and challenges embedded within your own organisational context.

During the event you will have the opportunity to:

  • Exchange ideas with professionals from other organisations about maximising the benefit of development investment.
  • Question our experts about Cranfield and the development approaches embedded in the new portfolio's design.
  • Learn about Cranfield's Design for Impact approach that draws on seven years of research into the organisational impact of management development.

Those who attend the launch will also receive a discount of 20% on the first five places they book for their organisation for programmes scheduled in 2019 across our portfolio.

Your hosts for the day:

  • Camilla Jonsson, General Management Portfolio Director
  • Portfolio delivery team.
