Developing Nottingham's Tech & Digital talent for the future.
This roundtable event will explore what Nottingham needs to do to build its tech and digital talent pool for the future.
Nottingham is home to a vibrant and rapidly growing digital and technology ecosystem, from innovative startups and scaling businesses to established employers, education providers and public sector partners. As technology continues to evolve at pace, the region must evolve with it, strengthening skills, widening access to opportunity, and building the talent pipelines needed to support long-term growth across Nottingham and the wider EMCCA area.
This session looks firmly to the future. It will explore where current and emerging skills gaps exist, how new technologies are reshaping roles and industries, and how we can work collaboratively to ensure Nottingham’s workforce remains skilled, inclusive and competitive. That means supporting young people into tech careers, investing in reskilling and upskilling, and creating clearer pathways into the sector for those who may not traditionally see themselves represented within it.
The Developing Nottingham's Tech and Digital Skills event is supported through the Tech for Good Regional Tech Booster programme, delivered by Allia Impact in partnership with the UK Tech Cluster Group and funded by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology.
