Developing our Civic Plan

Two years ago, we launched our new strategy, Transforming Lives, which set out the great pride we take in our regional identity and our determination to drive the economic, social and cultural improvements that this region needs to grow and thrive.
We are now at a point where we want to develop a more strategic approach to our civic and community engagement, to help us ensure that we are fully considering the needs of the region, as well as the emerging trends. In other words, what we do has to have relevance, as well as impact.
We are holding a series of workshops throughout February where we want to hear from you about what you currently do for the local community, what you think we do well, and how we could do better to support the long-term needs of the region.
