Developing Resilience using Nonviolent Communication
Manage climate anxiety and build lasting resilience through Nonviolent Communication (NVC) for a more balanced, sustainable mindset.
How do we manage our personal responses to difficult times? How can we improve our understanding of our own needs and how they can be held along with the needs of others and the planet? Come along to this small friendly group to find out how NVC can help us. We will think about our reactions to this challenging topic and start to explore strategies to move from overwhelm to action and greater peace of mind.
Clare Palmer is an experienced teacher and facilitator of Nonviolent Communication. She has shared this practice in business, at festivals and in workshops for 20 years to help people understand and balance their own needs and those of others.
This event is part of the Manningtree Earth Festival 2026 – a 5-week celebration of environmental action running from May 23 to June 30. Most events are free and volunteer led so if you can please donate when you sign up to the event.
If you’re no longer able to attend, please cancel your booking as soon as possible so your place can be offered to someone else, as spaces are limited.
