The Department for Formation offers opportunities for the formation of the lay people of the Diocese of Salford, of all ages, to grow in their discipleship of the Lord Jesus and  their participation in the life of the Church so that they can live their vocation in the Church for the world..

A training day for Hope in the Future parish teams on developing links between school and parish.

10:00                     Tea/Coffee 10:30                     Opening Liturgy 10:45                     Keynote Talk – Sr Judith Russi SSMN – 7 Ways from School to Parish 11:45                     Discussion 12:00                     Lunch 12:45                     Workshops 1* 1:25                       Workshops 2* 2:05                       Workshops 3* 2:45                       Conclusion/Closing prayer 3:00                       Departures
 
* Workshops (in small groups attendees will go to each 40 minute workshop)–
1)    Encouraging young people to take an active role in the parish – Lorraine Leonard 2)    Fostering good relations between school and parish – Fr Chris Gordon & Nicola Rabbett 3)    Living the Gospel as Beacons of Hope (Catholic Social Teaching) – Kath Ansley
Please bring a packed lunch. Tea/Coffee will be provided.
