Join us for a Future Artists deep-dive into Arts Council England’s ‘Developing Your Creative Practice’ (DYCP) funding – a powerful grant designed to help YOU invest in your ideas, your process, and your future.

Round 24 DYCP

Arts Council say - the next round of Developing Your Creative Practice (DYCP), Will be April 2026 (Instead of Nov 2025) and using this year’s remaining DYCP budget to immediately launch a ringfenced £7.5 million Research and Development (R&D) fund within National Lottery Project Grants (NLPG). grant https://www.artscouncil.org.uk/dycp

What this means is that you can apply for 1-30k to fund your R+D this year, from the BRAND new 7.5 Million £ fund, on a rolling basis AND also apply for DYCP in April 2026 - so two chances to get funding - we are updating our workshop to reflect this news! (Updated 30/10/2025).

Please note, this is an independent workshop ran by the Future Artists Community, So that more of our artists can get DYCP grants + R+D funding.

In this 90-minute live online presentation by the Future Artists bid writing team, you'll learn how to apply for DYCP funding / R+D funding, what makes a compelling case, and how to avoid the common pitfalls. Whether you're aiming for international travel, new collaborations, mentoring, or creative research – this is where your journey begins.

🎤 Meet Your Guide: Jessica Cheetham

Theatre Producer | Founder of Spun Glass Theatre | Funding Consultant

Jessica has supported artists with DYCP since it first launched – through the Arts Council Access Support scheme, one-to-one sessions, and workshops across the UK, including De La Warr Pavilion’s Job Fair.

She also secured her own DYCP in 2023 to research diversity in Early Years performance – so she knows what it takes from both sides of the table. Her creative producing credits and funding success include numerous Future Artists projects.
