New Development and Sustainability Forum for business, policy, infrastructure and place leaders shaping net zero growth in the North East.

Join us for the new for 2026 Development and Sustainability Forum, a practical, action-oriented space bringing together leaders from business, policy, infrastructure, planning, energy and place.

This first forum will set the ambition, principles and direction of the series, creating a shared understanding of how sustainable development and energy infrastructure support jobs, net zero delivery and prosperous places across the North East. The session will combine short scene-setting contributions (content TBC), networking, and interactive discussion.

Attendees can expect open conversation, cross-sector insight and the opportunity to help shape the Forum’s priorities and themes for 2026. The event is designed to support collaboration, inform decision-making and position the Forum as a trusted convening space for the region.

Hosted by North East Chamber of Commerce, with contributions from regional partners including Northern Powergrid (speakers and agenda TBC).
