However, at the same time, it has exposed the lack of good data that is made available to support local leaders, such as mayors and council leaders, and help them make decisions.What role should data play in effective policy making and how should central and local government work together more effectively to ensure that they both have the information they need to make informed decisions?Is the 'devolution of data' down to local leaders important for helping their areas recover from the pandemic?
