Devon's Carbon Plan

Action day leafletting in  Tiverton West ward (including West Exe and Castle).  Morning session 10.30 - 12.30 , afternoon session 1.30 - 3.00 pm.Meet with other members and supporters working to increase Green representation on Devon County Council and Mid Devon County Council. Join us for the whole day, with shared picnic outdoors if fine, or for just morning or afternoon sessions.

<p>The Devon Interim Carbon Plan has been published for consultation. We look at what&#x27;s in it (and what controversial changes will be sent for discussion to the Devon Citizens Assembly). Individuals, community groups, businesses and organisations can comment.  What&#x27;s missing?  Is 2050 soon enough?</p><p>Gill Westcott, a member of Devon&#x27;s Net Zero Task Force, introduces a discussion on the Interim Plan and what this might mean for Mid Devon and other local authorities. What support is needed from national government to decarbonise Devon and how can Devon&#x27;s MPs help?</p>
