Professional Contemporary Dance Classes by Dance.Film.Performance (DFP)
Join us for professional contemporary dance classes led by Angelina Gorgaeva, Founder and Artistic Director of Dance.Film.Performance (DFP) and DFP Dance Company, as part of the DFP Film Festival in London.
Taking place at Copeland Gallery, these classes are designed for professional and pre-professional dancers, focusing on the development of choreographic practice, improvisation, and refined physical awareness.
Rooted in DFP’s distinctive choreographic methodology, the sessions invite participants to engage deeply with movement through imagination, precision, and artistic intention. Through guided improvisation and structured material, dancers will expand their expressive range and strengthen the connection between concept, body, and performance.

You are also invited to join the DFP Dance & Film Intensive, taking place 27–29 March at the same gallery.
This three-day intensive brings together dancers, choreographers, actors, directors, filmmakers, and photographersto explore the intersection of movement and cinema.
LEARN. COLLABORATE. CREATE.
Participants will:
• Develop skills in directing movement for camera
• Learn key aspects of production, budgeting, and creative leadership
• Collaborate across disciplines to create an original short film concept
• Film their work with guidance from the DFP creative team
• Receive professional footage for their portfolios
• Connect with artists across multiple creative fields
