Helen Claire Gould discovered science fiction at nine and has been writing it since her teens.  She met her husband at Peterborough SF Club and set up the Peterborough SF Writers’ Group, and later joined the BSFA postal writing workshop ("orbiters"), then joined Cassandra, an SF/fantasy writers' support group and joined 2 more orbiters there. She worked as a professional trainer for 6 years, and after graduating from Anglia Ruskin University in Geology and Planetary science in 2000, she taught Geology and Creative Writing evening classes for 5 years. In 2014 she self-published her debut novelFloodtide, followed in 2018 byThe StallionandShe…; her current WIPs areThe Zarduth Imperative: DiscoveryandThe Zarduth Imperative: Flagship. She now runs writers' and self-publishers' workshops, and offers editing and proof-reading services. Her websitewww.Zarduth.comis partly set up as a companion to the universe she writes in.
