Difference Course - Taster Session

We live in a world that is complex and often divided — from global conflicts right down to our own relationships. And of course, we see that complexity and division in our churches too.
Part of our calling as the Church is to stand between groups who fear or misunderstand one another – to listen, reconcile, and draw people together in Christ’s love. But that is hard to do.

That's where the Difference Course can help.

The Difference course is a FREE resource for churches to run wtiht hose in their churches and communities. Difference is a five‑session course for adults (and a six session course for young people) about what it means to follow Jesus in a conflicted world.

Created by the Reconciling Leaders Network (RLN), Difference has brought together leading thinkers and peacemakers to help us think through the divisions we see in society, and equip us to live well together. The programme equips people to cross divides, navigate disagreement and pursue a just and flourishing world.

 Lasting change happens when we allow God to shape who we are and the values we live by. That’s why Difference is about formation – discovering and building new patterns of thinking, speaking, praying and acting.

In this one hour session, hosted by +Emma, the team from Reconciling Leaders Network will run us through a taster of what the Difference Course entails, show you how to access the resources and signpost to the short online training that you can do in order to facilitate the course.

You’ll be able to experience the course for yourself and discover the difference it could make in your church and community.
