Around 13m women in the U.K are either peri or post Menopausal, up to 60% of women experience symptoms and only 38% of women seek help from a GP*.So, what do we really know about the Menopause and its effects? Why is it still a taboo subject? How can women take control and how can support networks be put in place to provide inclusive care and policies?Join Nicola Junkin, Helen Foster, Samina Malek (Consultant Gynaecologist), Dr Jesse Matheson (Senior Lecturer in Economics, The University of Sheffield) and Kate Muir (producer, Channel 4 programme ‘Davina McCall: Sex, Myths and The Menopause’) for an evening of myth-busting, fact finding discussion on this hot topic.£1 parking is available per car, at Freemen&#x27;s Multi Story Car Park, Putney Road, Leicester LE2 7TGAfter the talk, please join us for drinks and canapés where you will get the chance to network and carry on the discussions.
