Difficult Conversations Workshop

Handling conflict and navigating difficult conversations are challenges that we all face in our personal, community and working lives. Often we come away from such situations realising that we could have handled things better, but not necessarily knowing how to go about improving our understanding and skills. The Restoring Relations project is an initiative by a small group of individuals to address this problem. The project draws on a number of sources, including the restorative justice process,  to create a process and approaches that help us understand and handle conflict better, whether dealing with an isolated flare-up or resolving a long standing issue.

Restoring Relations Project

This half day workshop is open to all. The flexible format ensures that;

The workshop provides many opportunities to work on handling difficult conversations and practise your skills in a safe environment.
You focus on what you want to achieve, including:

understand approaches for handling difficult conversations

make sense of difficult conversations you have experienced or witnessed
</LI>
<LI>
understand and practise approaches for a specific situation
</LI>
<LI>
practise the skills that help in a conflict situation
</LI>
<LI>
prepare for a potential difficult conversation
</LI>
</UL>
Places are limited to 16.
