Digestive Distress
Digestive Distress: Making Sense of Bloating, IBS & Food Reactions
I’m really excited to be hosting a free, interactive talk focused on making sense of digestive symptoms.
Have you ever wondered why your gut still isn’t right, despite years of symptoms, trying different diets, or even having multiple tests and investigations that all came back “normal”?
Do you live with bloating, wind, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, constipation, or symptoms that seem to change from week to week - perhaps labelled as IBS, a food intolerance, or never clearly explained at all? If this sounds familiar, this evening has been designed with you in mind.
During the talk, we’ll explore why digestive symptoms happen - from enzyme issues and food sensitivities to gut bacteria, stress, and the gut–brain connection - and how to start recognising patterns in your own symptoms without jumping straight into restrictive diets or quick fixes.
There’ll be plenty of opportunity for interaction, including a short quiz, as well as time for questions
And if this isn’t for you personally, you may well know someone who’s been quietly struggling for years, so please do feel free to pass this on.
We will be taking a collection for Olney Is Kind on the evening of the event - so if you would like to donate please bring some coins!
