We are very excited to invite you to come along to the launch of the new Digital Catapult NI Immersive Lab in the Ormeau Baths, Belfast.

Located across the UK, the <a href="https://www.digicatapult.org.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Digital Catapult</a> Immersive Labs are an expanding network of facilities that are supporting the UK’s growing immersive community.Our nationwide network of Immersive Labs are hubs for innovation. They are available for business who are working with immersive technologies to book for demonstrations, specialist development, and showcases. We provide introductory sessions to help organisations explore the huge potential of VR and AR technology and content.After an eventful first year of operation the Belfast Digital Catapult Immersive Lab has a new home at the beautifully restored West Wing of the Ormeau Baths complex.At this event we are also going to kick start the Immersive Tech community meet up <a href="https://twitter.com/ImmersiveTechNI" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">@ImmersiveTechNI</a>. If you aren't a member join up - <a href="http://meetu.ps/e/G8Jfy/yxzXq/f" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">http://meetu.ps/e/G8Jfy/yxzXq/f</a>And we are delighted that <a href="https://labs.uk.barclays/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Barclays Eagle Labs</a> will help support this event too.Guest speakers so far include a show and tell from the company who produced the amazing, award winning, VR BBC history experience - <a href="https://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/latestnews/2018/berlin-blitz-vr" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Berlin Blitz </a>and we'll also have a talks from Holographic and AR specialists <a href="https://www.holome.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Holome</a> and <a href="https://volograms.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Volograms</a>, who might have one or two exciting bits of kit to show off. And Daniel Brice, Manufacturing VR/AR Lead at <a href="https://www.qub.ac.uk/sites/iams/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">QUB's Centre for Intelligent Autonomous Manufacturing Systems</a> will be talking about his work around assisted guidance for maintenance in manufacturing.Plus you'll have the chance to try some VR and AR demos and hardware in the lab.More detail to add in the coming weeks but please register now to make sure you book your spot!
