Mae’r sesiwn hon wedi’i dylunio i feithrin hyder wrth gyflwyno codio yn yr ystafell ddosbarth. Bydd cyfranogwyr yn archwilio J2Code ac yn datblygu dealltwriaeth o sut y gellir ei ddefnyddio i gefnogi sgiliau rhaglennu cynnar a meddwl cyfrifiadurol.

Bydd cyfranogwyr yn cymryd rhan mewn gweithgareddau ymarferol i archwilio cysyniadau codio syml a chreu rhaglenni sylfaenol y gellir eu defnyddio i gefnogi dysgu yn yr ystafell ddosbarth.

Mae’r sesiwn hon wedi’i hanelu’n bennaf at ymarferwyr CA2 a CA3 sydd yn newydd i godio neu sydd â phrofiad cyfyngedig o ddefnyddio offer codio yn ymarferol.

Amcanion y Sesiwn:

Erbyn diwedd y gweithdy, bydd cyfranogwyr yn gallu:

• Deall bod codio yn rhoi cyfarwyddiadau cam-wrth-gam syml i gyfrifiadur
• Defnyddio J2Code i greu cyfres fer o gyfarwyddiadau (rhaglen sylfaenol)
• Rhedeg a golygu rhaglen syml a gweld sut mae newidiadau yn effeithio ar y canlyniad

Overview:

This session is designed to build confidence in introducing coding in the classroom. Participants will explore J2Code and develop an understanding of how it can be used to support early programming skills and computational thinking.

Participants will take part in practical activities to explore simple coding concepts and create basic programs that can be used to support learning in the classroom.

Target Audience:

This session is primarily designed for PS2 and PS3 practitioners who are new to coding on Hwb or who have limited experience using J2E coding tools in practice.

Session Aims:

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

• Understand that coding is giving simple step-by-step instructions to a computer
• Use J2Code to create a short sequence of instructions (a basic program)
• Run and edit a simple program and see how changes affect the outcome
