We are delighted to welcome you to our 1-day summit that will inspire, connect and enable frontline staff, community leaders, transformation and workforce leads and wider stakeholders to innovate and embrace digital solutions. We will connect you with a variety of people, tools and information to increase your unique contribution to delivering safer, higher quality care for local people, patients, communities and the workforce.

The event will take place on Thursday 7 June, with a daytime session from 9am (for 9.30am start) until 4.30pm – followed by an additional evening session from 5-7pm.

Day event – 9am to 4:30pm

Session 1: Digital strategy launch

Hear how we have explored the impact digital solutions and innovation can make across health and social care – from enabling people to better care for their own needs through to managing the health of populations. We will update you on plans for and progress with community, citizen and patient activation; building a digital ready workforce; technology-enabled care; interoperability (shared care records) and improving health and care at scale (iHACs).

To conclude the morning session, Dr Amanda Doyle, Accountable Officer for Healthier Lancashire and South Cumbria, will launch the new co-created Healthier Lancashire and South Cumbria Digital strategy.

Session 2: Empowering you to deliver digital solutions at pace

Dr Amanda Doyle, system and national leaders will launch a range of solutions and initiatives to support your organisation to innovate and embrace the opportunities offered by digital technology. By the end of the day, you will be better connected to a variety of people, tools and information which will increase your unique contribution to local people, communities and workforce.

Evening event – 5 to 7pm

Opportunity for full day delegates to stay and network and ask questions – as well as a chance for people who can’t attend during the day to join us for a drink and canapes, as we formally launch our ability to connect up patient records and information across local hospitals, community services, GP practices and councils.

It will also offer you the opportunity to further network and have the chance to ask more questions about the Digital strategy and join our NHS 70 celebrations!
