Digital law scrum ...... and Bacon!
Agile meets digital legal training
If you work in IT >> Hosting >> Support and Maintenance >> Software Development >> Digital Marketing >> Campaign Design Services or you do the whole lot, no matter how big or small then SIGN UP NOW! LIMITED SPACES!
We’re running regular digital law sprints and will give you real and useful legal information for all you digital folk to help you run your business (not just enough to make you panic and give you more questions than answers!).
And, if that isn’t enough to tempt you then we’ll even throw in a bacon sandwich! And we’re not saying you need shed loads of coffee to stay awake throughout the 2 hour session but it will be there if you need it! What’s not to like?!
Sprints will be held monthly and we’ll share the agenda in advance so you’ll know if the topic will be applicable to you and your business. Oh, and they’ll always be free!
The Project (what is it?)
Come and get your legal / business contract life sorted once and for all so you can get the knowledge you need to understand the key things you need to know to run your business without wondering or worrying what you’ve missed!
We’ll navigate you through the maze of digital law and give you tools and information to get comfortable with the issues so you can get on with the business of running your business.
Stakeholders (who should attend)
Business owners and directors of digital companies of any size.
Whether there’s one of you or you are part of a bigger business - we’ll identify specific individual roles for those larger businesses who the subsequent sessions are aimed at (e.g. we’ll at some stage run sprints for contract managers/ project managers).
Limited spaces so get in there quick! But don’t worry if you miss out this time – let us know and we may re-run the sprint. Plus you can always join us for Sprint 2!
Sprints (each session)
We’ve got the first 3 sprints sorted as we think there’s some fundamental bits you need to know. After that, its up to you, we’ll decide as we go!
Sprint 1: Take away the pain of contracts and an intellectual property law taster.
Focusing on key customer and supplier contract issues for digital contracts in general.
There will be time to chat afterwards but if you have anything specific you’d like to discuss with Tracey or Alison (Tracey’s right hand woman) then if you let us know we can book you a specific time slot. Or if you think the answer will be relevant to others in your industry, let us know and we may cover it in a future sprint.
Tracey O’Connell, co founder of Lawpoint.
Fortunately for you digital lot, Tracey is not very good at offering snippets of information with no real structure around them as she entirely inflexible and feels the need to impart information that is actually useful. So against all content marketing advice she has received, Tracey is in it for the long run: to keep you lot topped up and answer all of those burning questions.
A bit more about Tracey
Tracey O’Connell was working as a solicitor for one of the UK’s top law firms when she decided there were better and more cost-efficient ways to provide integrated business and legal services. Lawpoint was born and Tracey was proven right.
And it’s not just us that agree - Tracey O’Connell of Lawpoint was invited to contribute to the book, The Collaboration Game, and has written the chapter on contractual arrangements for collaborative freelancing.
