Monday 27th June: Future Craft: Digital Making and Modern Craft
Do you work in a creative industry? Come along to our first talk of the week to learn more about how digital technologies have changed the craft industry. You will also get hands on experience with a range of technology designed for the creative industry including 3D Printing and 3D Scanning.

Tuesday 28th June: Connected Environments: Sensors and the Internet of Things
In a world of ever increasing digitally connected devices, today’s session will focus on how everyday devices can provide valuable data and how you can use that to engage with your clients. This will be demonstrated through a range of live sensors and devices installed around the Inverness Campus.

Our digital makers’ week comes to a close with attention placed on the construction industry. The guest speakers will talk about how digital is changing the industry from new innovations to adapting working practices for the digital era. Alongside this, there will also be the chance to get hands on experience with technologies used in the industry including 3D Scanning, Digital Manufacturing Tools and Aerial Photometry.
