Digital Memory Database launch
Overview
The Digital Memory Database is a platform housing a vast collection of global digital Holocaust memory practice from the 1990s up to today, that will continue to grow into the future.
It is aimed at academics, educators, Holocaust memorials, museums, archives and libraries as well as independent projects.
What is it?
The Database is a trailblazing ‘living’ space, which includes video walkthroughs of international digital projects that use Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, film, apps and other creative media, as well as recorded interviews with those involved in their creation: today’s ‘memory makers’.
Users can curate their own areas, tailor data visualisations and collaborate with others, no matter where they are located.
