Digital Month Creative Coding Workshop @ 1pm Nov 18th
Date and time
Description
Award-winning artists Genetic Moo are running creative coding workshops at Winns Gallery on Saturday, November 18th as part of Adventures in Digital Art, an exhibition of interactive artworks from The Lumen Prize, a global award and tour for digital art, in partnership with Waltham Forest's Digital Month.
Each one hour workshop will immerse participants directly into digitally-created art and then show them how to create a code-driven animation. As participants learn, they will see their efforts come alive, climb up walls and become part of Genetic Moo's own artwork displayed in the gallery.
Suitable for children aged 8 - 14. Free of charge. Only 10 participants per workshop so please book early to avoid disappointment.
All equipment will be provided or you can bring your own laptop to use.
Genetic Moo is made up of Nicola Schauerman and Tim Pick-up, both of whom are fully-qualified to work with children and have run coding workshops throughout the UK and abroad.
