This one day course is following-up from a few talks on the subject of Digital strategies and using Wardley maps to establish situational awareness. Wardley maps offer a new perspective on strategy, particularly fit for the digital world. From the Genesis of new ideas to the rapid evolution towards their industrialisation as a platform. Maps offer an awareness of the context and how to play the strategy at multiple levels of the value chain. 
Course objective: This course will enable the participants to get a better understanding of Digital Strategies and how to use maps to establish situational awareness and approach their strategy using adequate patterns.

The practice of the steps to building a map, including Purpose, User identification, User Needs, Value Chain and Map. Delegates may work from fictive scenarios, industry scenarios or their own real-life challenges.

 Understanding of the main patterns of movement, climate and inertia.

High-level understanding of the process of mapping and an overview of more advanced climatic patterns, doctrine and gameplay that will be covered in the subsequent courses.

This one day course is new content and the first in a series on Digital Strategies, hence it is highly discounted and the attendees will be encouraged to provide feedback. Included in the price are refreshments and lunch. 
The course will run from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM on Friday the 11th of October. There will be morning and afternoon breaks and 1 hr lunch.
