About this Event

Whatever relationship there has been between you, technology and your work in the past, you have probably seen technology in a different light in the last few months. There’s probably no area of our jobs that changes more rapidly and that we need to keep up to date with, whether it’s the use of different devices, the latest apps and web tools, the challenges of working safely online or harnessing the opportunities that digital learning offers. We are excited to have three technology specialists to answer your questions and give their opinions on how technology can enhance language learning and teaching.

This Insights session provides a forum for you to connect with a panel of experts to discuss and examine a variety of aspects of materials development.

Some areas that could be considered:

  •  Some approaches to using (and not using) technology in lessons
  • Fully online, blended and flipped classes
  •  Mobile learning
  • Online safet
  •  Virtual reality and augmented reality
  • Creating and using digital materials
  •  What next in technology assisted language learning

NILE Online Academic Manager, Johanna Stirling, is joined by three panellists bringing different perspectives on the world of technology assisted language learning. Nicky Hockly, Spain, Russell Stannard, UK, and Sophia Mavridi, UK, who will be answering the host’s and your questions, and some of their own

You can submit your questions in advance or pose them directly to the panel during the live session. Details on how to do this are available upon registration.

This interactive, insightful event is free to all – but places are limited!
