DINNER TIME! November Edition

I'm a writer, comic and actor based in London. I'm organising a season of monthly free-entry Edinburgh preview double bills with myself and other award-winning alternative comics.

Part sketch show, part writing workshop, part chat show, part creative symposium. Dinner Time is a new way of making stuff.

The Glitch

Joz Norris, Ben Target and Miranda Holms just spent a month at the Edinburgh Fringe putting on the cult hit anti-magic show &quot;Blink&quot; (&quot;A show that is not short of ambition...it packs a terrific punch&quot; - Evening Standard)

Now they&#x27;re making new work via Dinner Time, a forum for new ideas, new writing, new approaches, and new ways of making comedy via live interactive play with an audience.

Brand new sketches, themes, monologues, scraps and fragments will be shared with an audience, then discussed with them, and the audience will be invited to share their own ideas about what works, what doesn&#x27;t, and what else they should try. Those same scraps and fragments will then be re-performed, re-explored, tried out in different shapes and ways, until something exciting and new has been birthed.

Dinner Time is a comedy night concerned with input, not output. Process, not outcome. We&#x27;re interested in exploring new ideas with an engaged audience, and pooling people&#x27;s ideas to see what comes out of it. Come and be part of the conversation!
