Dirar Kalash is a Palestinian multi-instrumentalist and sound artist whose work resists easy categorization. He works across acoustic instruments and electronics, approaching sound as both material and inquiry. His practice avoids labels or packaged notions of heritage, instead using experimentation and research to keep tradition active rather than fixed. While often associated with sound research and politically driven electro-acoustic practices, his work remains open-ended, process-based, and exploratory.This event is organized by Aswatna Studio.Aswātna Studio is a talent management and booking agency dedicated to representing and managing Palestinian artists across all creative disciplines.
