Overview

Disability Equality Training builds awareness, challenges bias & promotes inclusion for disabled people in all settings.

Disability Equality Training helps employees at all levels of your organisation build confidence, awareness, and practical understanding around disability inclusion. Many workplaces unintentionally overlook the everyday barriers faced by disabled people — this training ensures your team is informed, respectful, and equipped.

Our Disability Equality Training for employees explores the real-life, practical issues that may arise in the workplace and when engaging with disabled customers. It highlights the significant value that disabled employees and customers bring to organisations.

Disability Equality Training structure/content

The aim of Disability Equality Training is to look at disability from a human rights angle and how society affects a person’s experience of their disability. We discuss issues like discrimination and isolation, how to remove barriers, and how to be aware of respectful language and etiquette. Our training is delivered by accredited disabled trainers. This training is not just theory for them. We encourage participants to think about how they, personally, can help tackle these issues. Our training sessions are interactive, and participants are encouraged to engage in debate about the issues. This training will be facilitated by one of our accredited disabled trainers and is CPD-accredited with four points.
