Discovering Resilience - immersive reflection workshop

Common Vision is a think tank working to change the narrative around our shared future. We use the power of positive ideas to detoxify angry, binary debates and unite people around long-term intergenerational goals. We aim to revitalise public diplomacy by championing deliberative dialogue and encouraging established and new leaders to work together to turn collective social challenges into opportunities.

What have you learned about yourself over the past 18 months? What have we learned about society? We all know that the pandemic has been a huge test of our individual and collective resilience. We now want to reflect on what we have learned so that we can build back better, and create a strong collective future. Join us for this workshop to explore what makes us strong - as individuals and as a society. Common Vision will bring young people from across the UK together to share their challenges, experiences, and insights from the past year. The goal of the workshop is to learn about ourselves, our communities and our systems, and inform the design of a policy framework that puts young people at the heart of the COVID-19 recovery.This workshop is the first part of our project 'Rethinking Resilience', an exciting participatory research programme through which we will co-design a new policy framework that aims to enable young people to recover from the pandemic, and live fulfilling, prosperous and connected lives. We are running the same discovery workshop on multiple dates so many people can join.
