Impacts that went wrong – how they were saved or what we could learn (introduced and chaired by Gemma Derrick)

When Dr Gemma Derrick and her colleagues coined the phrase, “grimpact”, they were among the first to shine a light on the grim underbelly of the impact agenda, where significant negative unintended consequences arise from attempts to generate impact from research. In this discussion, you are invited to bring examples of your own impacts that went wrong, sharing how you avoided or reversed harm, or what you learned from the experience.
