Join us for Challenge Poverty Week for a screening of Dispossession (2017) narrated by Maxine, followed by a Q&A with director Paul Sng.

This powerful documentary explores the history and current state of social housing in the UK, examining how decades of policy decisions have led to the displacement of communities and the deepening of inequality. It will be followed with a Q&A with the brilliant director Paul Sng (Poly Styrene: I am a Cliche, Tish, Reality is Not Enough).


Our Picturehouse is kindly supported by Edinburgh Film Guild, one of the oldest continuously running film societies in the world and a keen supporter of community cinema.

The films will start promptly at 7pm without trailers
