Diverse Educators Network meetup

Baljit Birring

Diverse Educators Network meetup on Friday 21st June 2019, at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
We are delighted to invite you the Diverse Educators Network Conference to help you to move and shape the school leadership landscape. We need talented professionals like you from diverse backgrounds to step up into leadership roles to diversify school leadership. Together we can make a difference to the outcomes for children and young people and grow and develop more diverse leaders. This conference is suitable for people from diverse backgrounds at any career stage, or even for those just considering a career in teaching
The theme of the evening is 'Learning from successful BME leaders and Networking for Success'. We are delighted to have two highly successful BME leaders as our keynote speakers to inspire and motivate us. Dave Watson, OBE, is the Executive Principal and CEO at the CLIC Trust in Manchester; and Yasmin Umarji, Senior School Improvement Manager at Bradford Council. Don't miss this opportunity, as Yasmin will be retiring at the end of the term.
After the meal there will be ample time for discussing the issues from our keynote speakers and for that really important networking!
