Event description

Description

**Please note this event is for organisations who are already delivering, or are capable of delivering, programmes of work that increase diversity across a range of characteristics and underrepresented groups**

Is your organisation interested in working with government to build a more diverse digital, data and technology (DDaT) workforce?

On Wednesday 23 January, the cross-government Diversity in DDaT Working Group will be hosting a roundtable event to explore how government could better partner with external organisations to more collectively drive diversity initiatives in the Digital, Data and Technology Profession. Sue Owen, DCMS Permanent Secretary and Civil Service Diversity and Inclusion Champion, will chair this event.

With our future workforce narrowed through the choices made much earlier in their education, we hope to come together to look at ways to collaborate to increase awareness and change perceptions of opportunities in digital, data and technology amongst people in education, and specifically among underrepresented groups.

The event will be an interactive session of awareness and exchange, where we will build understanding of our challenges. This session will help inform how we choose to engage with a handful of suppliers to support our diversity ambitions.

If you’re an organisation that’s interested in attending this event, please register your interest by clicking ‘register’ on this page and we will be in touch with further information.
