DIY instruments - PLAYFORM workshop

Get hands-on with sound in this practical, creative workshop led by artists Harry Smithson and Tam Lin.

Together, you’ll build your own DIY oscillators and instruments from scratch - no experience needed. By the end of the session, you’ll perform together using what you’ve made.

Harry Smithson’s work spans performance, sculpture and sound, exploring themes of transformation and resonance. Tam Lin is an interdisciplinary artist whose electronic music treads the line between organic and synthetic, working with vocal experiments and synthesiser manipulation.

This workshop is facilitated and presented by Resonant Ground, a curatorial platform exploring sound, space and contemporary culture, bringing their experience in community music and creative facilitation to shape an accessible, collaborative space for all: whether you’re a musician, a maker, or just curious.
