Seat, crotch + knee blowouts are the most common tears in jeans + trousers. Bring yours along to this workshop + learn how to revive them!

About this event

Please note: this event will be held in person at Glasgow Zine Library.

Seat, crotch and knee blowouts are the most common tears in jeans and trousers. Bring yours along to this workshop and learn how to revive and repair with decorative or invisible stitching.

All materials and equipment will be provided but participants should bring an item they wish to repair. If they would just like to learn how to do the technique then all tools and materials will be supplied.

About Emily:

With a focus on textile repair and reuse, she works as a freelance repair technician, sewing machinist, and teacher. Her project Woolgathering transforms discarded textiles and garments into small-batch collections of patchwork quilts, home-wares, and accessories.
