Mark Barfoot invites you to explore the rich and diverse world of West African drumming. He has been teaching for over 20 years with 4 study trips to Senegal Gambia and twice to Guinea.
Mark will guide participants through an engaging exploration of drumming techniques, rhythmic patterns, and some cultural history of the significance of rhythm in traditional ceremonies, celebrations, and everyday life.
No prior musical experience is necessary! These workshops are designed for all skill levels, fostering a sense of unity and collaboration.
